An introduction.
Mr Ragu started life as a street food truck on a mission to bring the very best local produce to the streets (and fields) of Norfolk.
Mr Ragu is run by Gino and Millie; seasoned hospitality professionals who have a broad range of experience and approach each meal or event with care and, most importantly, a smile.
It started in Rome.
Mr Ragu’s trademark sandwich, the Ragu Ciabatta, was inspired by a meatball panino at the legendary sandwich bar Mordi e Vai in Testaccio Market, Rome. This was during a cycling trip from Turin to Francavilla Fontana in Puglia where we learnt the Italian love for the very best food and experienced the warmth of Italian hospitality.
The Trailer.
Gino and Millie started Mr Ragu in Spring 2021, converting a 1970s horse trailer, Blondie, into a street food trailer. After some blood, sweat and tears, we were ready to bring Italian flavours to Norfolk.
